Spaghetti alla Carbonara
A lovely dining experience outside on Mother's Day! A special menu was offered for the day that included Crab Ravioli and procuitto and melon in addition to the carbonara. The food was excellent and staff very attentive. We wish we had this type of place in our own neighborhood.
Bruschetta Classica
This is fresh and flavorful. The toasted bread was the great tasting bread served at Mondello.

It amazing. Went here by chance the first, been back 3 times now in a month. The staff feel like old friends already.
Spaghetti alla Carbonara
I love the carbonara here. It's light and rich at the same time. It satisfies that creamy (but not cream-sauce-y) mouthfeel you want in carbonara from the egg yolk, with the tangy punch of beautifully fresh Parmigiano cheese and the light kiss of fresh chopped herbs to offset the delicious pancetta (Italian bacon). Wash it down with a spritz or perhaps a nice glass of pinot grigio or of prosecco, and you're in heaven.

This is a nice combination of flavors. A perfect share to start a meal

Whatever secret ingredient they use in their dressing is amazing.
Ravioli al Marsala
It took me 16 years to make it into this restaurant, but I have been three times in the last month. The food is delicious and the atmosphere makes it feel like you are dining out in a friend's kitchen. The simple and fresh ingredients brighten each dish and the friendly greeting from the owner make this the place to be! I will soon be a 'regular' at Mondello.
Minestrone
So fresh and wonderful! Reminds me of my Italian grandfather's delicious soups.
Pesce del Giorno
The halibut with squid ink pasta was cooked perfectly, an authentic and truly delicious meal. I've been consistently impressed with the food at Modello and this was no exception.
